Description

We are happy to announce that the new bachelor’s degree program in Data Science is officially approved and listed in the 2021-2022 catalog:

We expect that students will have many questions, and therefore we will be holding an information session about the new major over zoom on Thursday, May 13th, 1-2pm (invite at the bottom of this email). The session will touch on many things, including:

  • The Data Science BS program requirements and plan of study
  • What kinds of skills it will develop and what careers it will prepare you for
  • The basics of the admissions process and timeline
  • The basics of the advising structure once in the major


Most importantly, we will dedicate a significant chunk of time to answering your questions.
