BTC TRANSFER TO WWU

Earn your Associate in Applied Science – Transfer in Computer Networking – Articulation to WWU Cybersecurity B.S. from Bellingham Technical College, then continue at Western Washington University to complete a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity.

Western reviews all transfer applications holistically, and the majority of applicants are admitted. In addition, Western guarantees admission to both the university and the Cybersecurity major for BTC students who complete the Associate in Applied Science – Transfer in Computer Networking – Articulation to WWU Cybersecurity B.S. with a 3.7 GPA or higher. To be considered for guaranteed admission, applications must be submitted by the priority cybersecurity application dates (March 1 for summer/fall, August 15 for winter, November 1 for spring).

Years 1 & 2: Bellingham Technical College

Fulfill the following criteria at BTC to be eligible to transfer to WWU's BS in Cybersecurity Program:

YEARS 3 & 4: WESTERN WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY

Complete the following courses at WWU to earn a BS in Cybersecurity:

  • 29-38 credits: Required CISS Courses
  • 14 credits: Support Courses
  • 8 credits: CISS Electives
  • 0-48 credits: General University Requirements
