About
I enjoy spending time with my two (almost teenagers) kids. When the weather is nice we enjoy being outdoors of the PNW. When its raining we enjoy painting, reading and binge watching tv shows. In my free time I am a big CrossFit enthusiast and enjoy snowboarding in the winter.
Educational & Professional Experience
Since 2020, I have been working for the Department of Defense in a cyber related position. Most recently as an Information Systems Security Officer. Prior to working for the Department of Defense I spent 7 years supporting Marine Corps information systems with information assurance/system administration work. I joined Western Washington University in Fall 2024 as a teaching faculty. Before joining Western, I spent 5 years in the Marine Corps working on aviation management systems. In 2020, I received my D.Sc. in Cybersecurity from Capitol Collage. My doctoral study was on law enforcement techniques in darknet markets. Current research interests are in human factors in cybercrime, Darknet Markets, and nation state cybercrime.
