With over 25 years of experience in cybersecurity and network administration, Dr. Epps has established a distinguished career marked by a commitment to excellence and a passion for technology. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, she began her journey in the military, gaining invaluable skills that would serve as the foundation for a successful career in information security.
Outside of work, Dr. Epps enjoys a fulfilling family life with her husband and four children—two daughters and two sons. She values the balance between professional ambitions and family commitments, often sharing her knowledge and passion for technology with her children.

Dr. Epps continues to contribute to the cybersecurity community, participating in conferences and workshops, and is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.

Dr. Epps, holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, a Master of Business Administration, a Master’s in Information Security Management, and a PhD in Information Science. These academic achievements reflect her dedication to continuous learning and professional growth.
As a certified ethical hacker, Dr. Epps possesses expertise in incident response and risk management, bolstered by certifications including Cloud+, Network+, Security+, and Linux+. Proficient in Bash and Python scripting, she leverages these skills to enhance security measures and streamline operations.
