Data Science (BS) Info Session

This quarter marks the official start of the Data Science BS program, offered by the Computer Science department. This new degree program has been carefully designed to prepare students for interesting, challenging, and lucrative careers in data science, data analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence. These jobs are in high demand, and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics anticipates strong growth in the upcoming years.

If you would like to learn more about this program, how it works and what it offers, we hope you will join us for an information session on Thursday, October 14, 1:00-2:00 PM. The session will touch on many things, including the program requirements and plan of study, the pre-major and major application process and timeline, and the basic advising structure once in the major. There will also be ample time for Q&A.
